Jens Nordfält is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Marketing and Strategy at Stockholm School of Economics and Dean of Nordic School of Retail Management. He also is an author of a book “In-Store Marketing” that covers new angles in customer psychology, different types of sales solutions, as well as the latest retail researches, describing examples and results from experiments in real estate and e-commerce.

Samuel Young has worked as Head of Digital Marketing at ICA Gruppen for 7 years and been a key driver of digital transformation at ICA. During his time, ICA main website grew from 35 million to about 120 million visits per year, successful apps were launched, ICA presence in social media won several awards and ICA website was voted the best site for food in Sweden. Samuel is now CEO of the start-up Smart Video, a company creating interactive videos and utilizing AI and machine learning to optimize digital engagement.

Aigars Jaundālders has over 18 years of experience in the information technology sector. As the Member of the Board of Latvian Open Technology Association (LATA), he participated in work on the Latvian Information Society development strategy for 2014-2020. He actively collaborates with industry representatives and the government for the development of more secure and open e-systems in Latvia. Aigars is a dedicated IT enthusiast and believes that if data is the modern oil, then machine learning is the processing of that oil necessary to create a usable product.

She has been a member of the ICA management team since 2016. Kerstin is also a member of the board of KRAV and a member of the Monitoring Board of the Swedish Chemicals Agency.

Erik Modig is the author of the Swedish books “Control - Effective Communication And Fight For Our Thoughts, Value Of Art” (“Kontroll – Effektiv Kommunikation Och Kampen Om Våra Tankar, Värdet Av Konst”) and doctoral dissertation “Understanding Advertising Creativity”. His research focuses on advertising and how the communication, branding and creativity psychology of the consumers affects business growth. He also conducts research in various other fields related to consumer psychology such as pricing, category management and the inclusion of fine art in commercial setting.
